I believe that's the date the William Kendrick and Sons was founded. My wife's great grandmother was married to a descendant of the founder.

Northwest Corner Method?

The first step in solving distribution problems is to put the information into an Assignment Table as shown below. The first column lists the sources of supply. These may be factory or warehouse locations. The middle columns represent the destinations of shipments. The rightmost column lists the number of units which may be supplied by each source. The bottom row lists the number of units demanded by each destination (customer). The bottom right corner is the total units demanded and supplied. The upper right corner of each cell (small squares inside the table) lists the shipping cost per unit from the source (left cell in row) to the destination (top of column). The cells contain the number of units shipped from the source shown in the leftmost cell of the row, to the destination indicated at the top of the column.

How many times does the number 1 appear on the dollar bill?

Now If you're counting "1", "one" and the Roman numeral for one, there's 18! The Eighteen are located. Four times in the corners on the front, one to the right of Washington, and one under washington. On the back, twice in each corner (numerically and spelled out) once in the middle, and once on the bottom. Then there's a green circle to right of Washington (front side) that has the numners "1789" which is number 17 for the 1's. and number18 is the roman numeral on the back at the bottom of the pyramid all the was on the right. Right after the roman numeral V. So there are 18 in total. So I don't understand why everyone keeps saying 16.

How do you find the reciprocal?

The reciprocal of a number is what the original number is multiplied by to get 1. To find this you can simply divide 1 by the number you want the reciprocal for or, if the number is in fraction form, switch the denominator and numerator.
