Thanksgiving Day is celebrated on the 4th Thursday in November. It is a traditional family celebration, commemorating the first settlements in Virginia where the Native Americans helped the white settlers survive the winter by sharing their food. Supposedly they ate together and become very friendly -- but the settlers got greedy and murdered the Indians for more food, really itha is very shameful for American people and I don't understand why this hollyday is celebrated with proud after that shameful behaivor of white American people like me.
