There's no fun in playing it safe. Why not try something a little unhinged?

The Bureau of Indian Affairs protects the Indian tribes as well as the Alaska Natives politically and legally by a government-to-government relationship with the United States government.

What does the BIA provide services for?

BIA is a fairly common acronym, but mostly it is used to refer to the Bureau of Indian Affairs. They provide services to members of 556 recognized Native American tribe. These include economic development, education, justice, information technology and a wide range of other services.

How receptive are the Native Americans to the BIA?

I guess this depends on who you ask. They have arrested me 13 times for attempting to shoot BIA representatives (yeah I know I need more practice, but you should see them run and dodge - they must recruit football players). Some Native friends of mine just hit them and close the door (that clutters up my porch) - generally they need a few armed escorts when entering most reservations. I think the general consensus would be if all BIA members and representatives were tied to stakes in the hot sun, most of us would be nice enough not to piss on them - and even shoot a few of the nice ones to end the suffering (although a few I would slice with rusty razor blades).

My dad is one eighth rincon luiseno Indian and is enrolled and gets money I am only one sixteenth Indian and I'm 4th generation can I get enrolled?

i am not positive what the blood degree "requirement" is to be enrolled in rincon, but i think it is 1/16 also, youd have to go through the BIA for enrollment.

Two historic sites seized by American Indian activists in 1970-1972 to draw public attention to Indian grievances?

The two historic sites that were seized by American Indian activists in 1970-1972 to draw public attention to Indian grievances were Alcatraz and Wounded Knee. They had also taken over the BIA building in Washington, DC.
