"Women a part of life" Women have always been a driving force of nature. In our life, women play the roles of mother, wife, sisters and many more. Women are considered as natures because they give birth to men, take care of them and they play many more roles in the life of a man as in many other roles. They feed men; they are the ones who take care of them from the day they are born to the day they die. A woman can have a lot of influence in a man's life. She plays the role of a mother, wife, sister or a lover. She can give love and turn a man from animal to a human being or with her hate can destroy the life of the man. The right woman in a man's life can totally change the behavior and attitude of the person. A woman is considered as nature because she does the work of the nature. She gives birth to children, nourishes and takes care of them exactly like Mother Nature does to every creation in earth. This shows the relationship between a man and a woman. A woman in a man's life can change the behavior of the person and can change him from what he was. She can act as a temptress who lures the man into her and changes the man completely from who he was in the past. "She was not ashamed to take him, she made herself naked and welcomed his eagerness; as he lay on her murmuring love she taught him the woman's art. For six days and seven nights they lay together, for Enkidu had forgotten his home in the hills; but when he was satisfied he went back to the wild beasts." (Gilgamesh 14). Here in the Epic of Gilgamesh the Harlot who is a woman acts as a temptress. She undresses herself and lures the mighty and powerful Enkidu who was born in the forests among the wild beasts. She keeps Enkidu for six days and seven nights in which Enkidu changes from who he was. Enkidu had the swiftness and strength but no wisdom but the harlot who acts as a temptress in the story gives Enkidu the wisdom of human but Enkidu after staying with the Harlot for six days and seven nights loses his swiftness and strength. He loses contact with the wild beasts and the wild beasts no longer welcome him. A woman who Enkidu took as a friend made Enkidu from a wild creature to a human being. Her influence in his life totally changed him. She was the one who taught him to be social and she took him to Uruk where he met Gilgamesh and they both became close friends. She taught him to fight wrong and gave him the wisdom to separate right from wrong. A woman also plays a very important role as a mother. She is the one the man obeys and cannot offend. A women as a mother gives orders which everyone of her children obeys and follows. "Let us act now, (?) As you were advising! The gods inside him (Apsu) will be disturbed, because they adopted evil for the gods who begot them." (Epic of creation, Tablet I). Tiamat, who created all the gods, was furious to know that her love Apsu was killed because he planned to empty the world of all creatures because they were making a lot of noise and disturbing the gods. Apsu first proposed this to Tiamat but she disapproved but when Apsu planned this with Mummu they were both murdered by Ea. This made Tiamat furious. Since all other gods were creations of Tiamat and favored the plan of Apsu, they could not do anything because Tiamat did not approve this but because her lover was murdered for this she approved what Apsu had proposed before. Tiamat agreed to perish all the living creatures in the world. This shows that woman as a mother can greatly influence a man. Men have a lot of respect for the women who act as their mother, lover or wife. After her approval the great flood was caused and all the living creatures in the world were perished. If she had not approved of the plan then there would not have been the great flood. This shows how much a mother can influence her creation or children. In the story of Adam and Eve, Eve the wife of Adam has played the role as a temptress in the form of his wife. She makes Adam disregard the order of god. Adam believes what Eve says and forgets the order of god. "And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food and that it was pleasant for the eyes, a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat." (The Old Testament, genesis 1-3). Eve tempted Adam to eat the apple. If it was not for Eve, Adam would have never touched the apple from the wisdom tree but Eve in her greed to get wisdom eats the apple from the tree and gives it to Adam who does not even question Eve and eats the apples himself. Adam trusts Eve and has a lot of faith in Eve. This is how much a man has faith in a woman who is his wife. A woman made Adam disobey god and then they got wisdom but god punished them for disobeying god. Adam blamed Eve and Eve blamed the serpent for which they have done and all of them were punished by god. God punished Adam that he has to work for everything and Eve that she has to give birth. Women have always been a very important part of a man's life. They have played very important roles in lives of men in various sectors of life. They have greatly influenced men in making them and also breaking them up. Like in the Epic of creation, Epic of Gilgamesh and the Old Testament women have always played a role as a wife, mother and various other roles in the life of men. They have influence over men and have the power to change a man. In every Epic and in The Bible, a woman is behind every man and is acting as a reason.
