Nick, Joe & Kevin just went with the first name that came to mind, originally Nick was only suppose to get signed into Hollywood Records, therefore he wouldn't have been able to use the band name "Jonas BrotherS" but the record label then heard Joe sing as well, and wanted to sign them both on, and since Kevin could play the guitar he joined in and their we signed into the label as a band, as for the name they just thought of the first thing at came to mind.. Jonas Brothers, they never intended on calling their band anything else.
