How did vegetation influence human settlements?

Topography means the nature of land. It has a great impact on the growth of settlements. Mostly people will try to settle in river valleys where the land is fertileand the water is easily available. In pains it is easy to develop the different means of transport which faciliate the movement of people from one place to another. In mountainous areas the growth of settlements is restricted because of rugged terrain and lack of transportation and communication.

What are the causes of lawlessness?

The one and only cause of lawlessness is human nature. Human beings have many traits that cause them to behave in a way that is harmful to society and those around them. Some of these are called the 'seven deadly sins' (envy, gluttony, greed, lust, pride, sloth, wrath), but there are many other ways to express human's bad traits. Everyone has their own opinion which are the worst; and there are as many reasons (excuses) that will be given for a person's bad behavior. Bad traits are universal among all humans, from the earliest human records and in every part of the world. If humans did not have bad traits, there would never had been a reason to make laws in the first place.

Were the Native Americans the first humans?

No, they only became "native Americans" after they migrated into the Americas - it follows that there were human beings before those migrations took place. America may have been first populated only around 20,000 years ago (the date is still being investigated); the first modern humans in Asia lived perhaps 60,000 years ago. The earliest modern humans (Homo sapiens) evolved in East Africa around 200,000 years ago.
