Lincoln was born on Feb. 12, 1809, in a log cabin in Hardin (now Larue) County, Ky.
He was born on Sinking Spring Farm in Hardin (now Larue, Hogenville) County, Kentucky, and lived there until he was 2. At 2, his family moved just a few miles away to Knob Creek, Kentucky and at age 7, his family then moved to Perry County, Indiana where he lived until age 22. In 1831, at age 22, Lincoln moved to New Salem, Illinois in Sangamon County near Springfield.
He was born in Kentucky and died in D.C
