He didn't go to schools often, but he went every now and then. He went to a blab school, which is a school that students had to blab their lessons for the teacher to know they were learning, if they did not blab, the would be punished. also, teachers didn't stay at school long, so they probably didn't learn a lot. they also didn't have a lot of paper, so the students did their lessons on any thing they could find. Abraham Lincoln did his on a piece of wood using a knife to carve in his lessons.
