Sara Weaver is the name of an actress who appeared in a film called 'The Skeptic' made last year.

Sara Weaver was also the name of a young rock guitarist from Philadelphia who died of leukaemia in 2002, aged only 33. She was a passionate advocate of lesbian & gay rights, animal welfare and of free healthcare for all- she also strongly opposed US militarism, especially in Afghanistan and the Middle East. After her death, her parents and friends established 'The Weave', a medical foundation aimed at promoting bone marrow donation, especially amongst black, Latino and other racial minorities. Sara Weaver is also the name of one of the daughters of Randy Weaver, an eccentric extreme-right wing survivalist who's wife Vicki, son Sammy and dog Striker were shot dead during an armed FBI raid on his isolated home on Ruby Ridge, Idaho, on 21st August 1992.
