It's not clear why a person would discriminate against a lower social class. Discrimination is something that most people disagree with and wouldn't knowingly do. Our system in the U.S. is designed to allow mobility between social classes, so a well-motivated lower class person should be able to better himself and enter the middle class. It's probably worth pointing out that a lot of perceived or claimed discrimination is imagined rather than real.

Mexican Social class in the US?

#1 Peninsulares were Spanish officials who ruled Mexico. They are among the richest, and they are also the top ranked social class of Mexico.#2 Criollos were people of pure Spanish descent who were born in the Americas. They are the second ranked social class of Mexico. Although they were usually limited to the lower echelon of their professions with little political power, many acquired great wealth and economic influence. It was this class, in response to increasing taxes and regulations by the Crown, that initiated the 11 years of rebellion to claim independence for Mexico in 1821. After the expulsion of the Spanish, criollosbecame the ruling class of Mexico.#3 Mestizos were people of mixed Indian and European descent and are the third ranked social class of Mexico in New Spain's social hierarchy and possessed little economic or political influence. Most Mexicans today are descended from this class whose mixed ancestry is indelibly linked to Mexico's national identity.#4 Indians people with pure Native American blood.

What is discrimination in health and social care setting?

Health care setting: Its basically where care workers discriminate service users because maybe the care workers think they are too old to be in the dentist (which is a health care setting) so the care worker would discriminate them and call them nasty things like a 'old sod' which would be classed as discrimination. Social Care Setting: In a social care setting care like a residential home which is for elderly the care workers would discriminate them because some have different social class's such as some service users are upper class where they are near enough rich and some are lower class basically not earning much money. the care workers could discriminate them by saying they are too poor to be in the residential home.
