It's not clear why a person would discriminate against a lower social class. Discrimination is something that most people disagree with and wouldn't knowingly do. Our system in the U.S. is designed to allow mobility between social classes, so a well-motivated lower class person should be able to better himself and enter the middle class. It's probably worth pointing out that a lot of perceived or claimed discrimination is imagined rather than real.
