Negative:
Started African Slavery
Exposed the native americans that were already in america to new diseases that killed a lot of people
Positive:
Opened up trade to a whole different continent.
Opened up two new continents for European conquest.
Brought Syphilis back to Europe.
A day off from school!
Its all a matter of point of view; To the native people it was totally negative; Columbus's original trip, generated the greatest violation of human rites ever practiced in ci-vil-ization. An Abomination!
Columbus and his crew treated the Arawak's ( natives) like slaves if they did not obey they were tortured and even killed.
Positives were that he discovered so much rich land and inspired many people to explore the world in a different way. he also documented his journey meaning we can can trace his exact rout etc
hope this helps :)
Negative: he and his European crew introduced many infections into the areas they visited, to which the inhabitants had no imunity, causing widespread local illness and death.

I am only going to tell you one because I cant think of another. Christopher Columbus Didn't Discover America.
The first person to discover America was Christopher Columbus. But technichly the Native Americans were because they were the first one on that land. When Christopher Columbus came there were already Native Americans.
People say that Christopher Columbus first discovered America. But actually, a Viking called Leif Erickson really did discover America first.
Christopher Columbus
Positive- Positive POSITIVE POSITIVE!! he talked about racial discrimination and how we should help the needy
it was positive because i say so and he inspired people
To find a quick route to Asia, but he landed in North America instead, but thought it was India. Columbus didn't like the Native Americans that lived on the land, so he took them as slaves, killed them, and sexually assaulted them.
Christopher Columbus is credited with discovering the Americas in 1492, opening up a new era of exploration and colonization in the New World. He played a key role in connecting Europe with the Americas, leading to the eventual exchange of goods, ideas, and cultures between the two continents. However, it's important to note that his arrival also led to the exploitation and suffering of indigenous populations in the Americas.
it's Elmo
I love Rosa parks!!!!!
Probaly, if you live in a America, that the pilgrims and everyone else knew that America was there so that they went there eventualy and here we are today.
The arrival of Europeans in America had both negative and positive impacts on the natives. Negative impacts included enslavement, forced displacement, loss of land, and introduction of diseases. Positive impacts included new technologies, introduction of crops and animals, and access to trade networks. However, the overall impact was largely negative, as the native populations experienced significant loss of life, culture, and sovereignty.
if you think he discovred america he did not he made shure his kides were ok on his voyage that is pretty much it
Christopher dock
Enough for Christopher Columbus to make it to America.
