I have heard this story from my parents about mormangi khattana that the people were migrating to somewhere and on the way a couple lost /forgot to pick their baby boy. A day after they came to find him and saw that the baby was being guarded by a big snake and a peacock was protecting him from sunshine. That's why the linage from that family is called mormangi khattanas.
