For the Allies, Leningrad, Stalingrad, Kursk, D-Day, the Bulge, Midway, Guadalcanal, and for the Axis, the fall of Poland and France, Pearl Harbor"s attack and the defeats at Dieppe, Dunkirk and Singapore and the Bulge were all positive turning points in WWII. The battle of the bulge was a winning turning point for both sides: Germany had shocked the Allied Forces with its capacity to resist and to go on the attack, and the Allies had destroyed the Nazi's forces but didn't know it.

there were a few major turning points of ww2 the first would have to be Hitler's decision to not attack the allies as they were stranded on the beach of Dunkirk. The next would be the loss of the battle of Britain and thirdly the invasion of Russia USSR at the time and the decision not to take Moscow and the biggest of all was the declaration of war with America in 1941 as America had done nothing but finance the war against Germany through Britain
