The Persistence of Memory is one. It depicts some melting clocks on a table in a coast landscape. The Elephants shows two elephants with very long and thin legs. Also there are two people running towards each other with open arms below the elephants.

As with every other living organism, elephants are made of a variety of cells, tissues and organs. If you want specifics, their tusks are made of ivory. Ivory is a material which is somewhat rare and expensive and is used to make all sorts of things- this being the reason elephants are being overhunted. If you mean Dali's painting it is oil paint on canvas.
It's a common misconception that Dali painted once painted his body with human feces (where this rumor started is the subject of many a debate in the modern art history world).
