People did not live as long during that age as they do now. Marriages were usually arranged and it was always to a person of the same class or "station". Women were subservient to men. They were dependent on their male relatives to support them. Elizabethan woman were raised to believe that they were inferior to men and that men knew better! Disobedience was seen as a crime against their religion. Marriages were frequently arranged so that both families involved would benefit. Marriages would be arranged to bring prestige or wealth to the family - a surprising fact is that young men were treated in a similar way as to women! Many couples would meet for the very first time on their wedding day! This particular Elizabethan custom usually applied to the nobility but the married or religious life were the only real options for the Elizabethans ( a career for a woman was absolutely unheard of!) Regardless of their social standing women and men were expected to marry. Single women who were thought to be witches by their neighbours...
With parental permission the legal age for Elizabethan marriages was as follows:
* it was legal for boys to marry at 14
* it was legal for girls to marry at the age of 12
It was not usual or traditional for marriages at such young ages. The actual age of consent was 21. Elizabethan men would generally not marry until this age.
The Elizabethan women, once married, where used to have lots of children and babies, back then large families where normal, sometimes women arranged 'foster parents' just in case they died through child birth.
Women were made to do all the housework and care and provide for the children.
When a women was getting married she was supposed to bring wealth into the family and goods that her parents had given her.
There was also a age limit of 27 for guys an girls was 25 so there was older people gettin married but at the same time there are yong. This is my own opion but i do believe that people getting married at a young age like 14 should be not aloud in the united states at all.
Class boundaries were very rigid during Elizabethan times. People remained in the strata of society they were born in for the rest of their lives. The highest level of Elizabethan society were the nobles, whose ranks included Queen Elizabeth herself. Directly following were the gentry. These were usually land rich lords, or gentlemanly tenants who lived on vast country properties. At the bottom of the hierarchy were the peasants. They lacked money and power, and lived in a society where there were no safety nets for the poor.
All of the Above
Oh, dude, the clapper dungeon in Elizabethan times was like a super fun place where they kept prisoners who were naughty and stuff. It was called the clapper dungeon because, you know, they would clap their hands and be like, "Time to go to jail, bro." It was basically the Elizabethan version of a time-out corner, but with way cooler vibes.
I and U are missing from the Elizabethan alphabet.
If you mean to describe a time that was not Elizabethan, you could refer to the time before or after the Elizabethan era, such as the Tudor period or the Stuart period.

If by "the Elizabethan society" you mean all the people who lived in England during the reign of Elizabeth I, yes, Shakespeare was one of those. He was born in the reign of Queen Elizabeth, who died when he was 39.
The best storyteller in Elizabethan times was Shakespeare.
Well in the Elizabethan society. Everyone had a place in the social order at that time is what we we call the Renissance time which was a time of classical and art which I believe was the time around the 14th to the 16th century.
