Communist party dissolution is to dissolute communist party. The communist Party Dissolution Bill was a referendum introduced by Robert Menzies (Prime Minister at the time) in which he claimed "Australia must be placed on a semi-war footing, which will involve restrictions on many civil liberties". Aka- it gave power to the government to publicly declare any citizen a Communist and to bar him or her from holding office in a range of public organisations, including trade unions. It threatened individual freedoms and the rights of an individual, and caused many enraged people so the act was contested in the High Court, where it was declared unconstitutional.
