If you are referring to the Russian Pillars of Autocracy then the pillars are:
· Civil Service: tens of thousands of workers organised into ranks from government ministers to minor officials such as post office workers, customs inspectors. Collected taxes, made sure Tsars ordered were carried out throughout Russia, no power for decisions so had approval from St. Petersburg. Civil servants poorly paid, bribery and corruption common at all levels.
· The Army: Used by Tsar to maintain power. In times of famine or severe discontent, riots, strikes and protests were dealt with by the army. Cossacks were loyal to the Tsar, ferocious soldiers used sabres to slaughter anyone rioting.
· Okhrana (Secret Police):Spied on suspected opponents of the regime, even on the royal family, infiltrated revolutionary organisations, they censored books and newspapers, those arrested could face flogging, fines or exile to Siberia.
· The Russian Orthodox Church: Taught people to be loyal to the Tsar and Autocracy, tsar was head of the church, peasants were god fearing, lower level priests, poorly paid and disliked as they demanded money from peasants.

One significant consequence of the Russian Revolution was the establishment of the Soviet Union in 1922, which marked the rise of a communist government and the end of the Tsarist autocracy. This shift led to significant social, economic, and political changes, including land redistribution and industrialization efforts. Additionally, the revolution inspired communist movements worldwide, influencing global politics throughout the 20th century and contributing to the onset of the Cold War.
The phrase "to make the world safe for democracy" was famously used by U.S. President Woodrow Wilson in his speech to Congress on April 2, 1917, justifying America's entry into World War I. Wilson argued that the war was necessary to protect democratic ideals and promote self-determination globally. This rhetoric framed the conflict as a moral crusade against autocracy and tyranny.
The Russian Revolution was influenced by long-standing social, economic, and political grievances, but it was not a singularly planned event. Discontent had been brewing for decades due to issues like autocracy, poverty, and the impact of World War I. Various revolutionary groups had been organizing and advocating for change, but the actual revolution unfolded rapidly in 1917, catalyzed by specific events and crises rather than a premeditated, unified plan.
When Nicholas was young he was tutored by Konstantin Pobedonostsev. Pobedonostsev taught Nicholas that autocracy was the only possible government for imperial Russia. Nicholas took his lessons to heart. When it came to Nicholas' reign (1894-1917) He was suspicious of any change and therefore, until forced to during the 1905 revolution, did not extend political rights of anybody in Russia for fear that his own posistion would be threatened. He had no interest in democracy, and thought an autocratic government was the only one by which to rule.
