The Monroe Doctrine was criticized because it basically said "America for the Americans". It meant that America viewed that the land from Alaska to Chile was part of their land.
None. Louis XIV said 'I am the State' - 'L'état, c'est moi'.
Michael Jackson said this.
Cheshire cat in Alice in Wonderland. No, actually Horton in Horton Hatches an Egg. "I meant what I said and I said what I meant; an elephant's faithful one hundred per cent."
The cause of World War II was the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife by a teenage Serbian nationalist named Gavrilo Princip. Hope I helped:-)
i think you heard what the person said. i think they had had enough and they said stinking rope.
franklin's answer was "or most assuredly we will hang seperate" but i am pretty sure he said that they must hang together also.
She said... Hang on... Yes.
John Adams
Benjamin Franklin http://www.ushistory.org/franklin/quotable/quote71.htm Benjamin Franklin said it. However the exact quote is "We must all hang together, gentlemen, else, we shall most assuredly hang separately." He said this at the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
Yes, because you never said the other end of the rope was tied to anything! Haha, tricky...
The founding fathers were constantly afraid of being captured an executed by the British. I believe Franklin said: "We must all hang together or we will all hang separately" The hang separately part refers to actually being hanged. Civilians who were patriots were openly abused by the British. Just like those who were more conservative and were loyalists were abused by Americans. Because of this many families had an American flag and a British flag. They would raise the American flag when the Americans were about and the British Flag when the British were about.
After being drunk, you have a hang over. A person who has a hang over is said to be hung over.
Benjamin Franklin quoted," We must indeed all hang together, or most assuredly we shall all hang separately."
It means he likes you back, OBVIOUSLY.
