According to Guinness Worldof Records, Katsusuke Yanagisawa, aged 71 years 63 days, climbed Everest on 22 May 2007. Min Bahadur Sherchan was aged 75 when he climbed, but apparently has not submitted the correct documentation to hold the official record.
