I AM NOT HAVING INSULTS FOR MY COUNTRY THIS IS CUTEMUTE147.

Sorry but the previous comment was rude!

Its because there are'NT enough people bothered to give money to the poor by donating it or giving to them.

A way that it happens is by dumping your children or parents dying, their are many ways it starts.

India is not still a poor country but a DEVELOPING Country. As of 2009 India is among the nations that weren't struck by recession. Amidst the recession, the GDP remained close to 7. Meanwhile, every nation of this world saw India as a great economic and an emerging nation since the recession. The development you see as of Nov, 2009 happened in last 10 years. In these 10 years, India grew very much in FDI, GDP, exports etc.

I also totally agree that India has the cast system which should be annihilated completely. 100% corruption free is ultimately impossible since many developed Nations do have 2-3% corruptions.

The education system is improving a lot in India and practical teachings are being carried out at many schools.

We have foreign IT industries such as Google, Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, HP etc., and automobile industries such as Ford, GM, Skoda, VolksWagon, Hyundai, Toyota and many luxurious cars such as Benz, BMW, Audi, Ferrari, run on Indian roads.

We in these days developed our own strategic weapons. Our Chandrayan, albeit retired a bit earlier than expected, but seemed to be definite success.

Although the poverty is high, the Government is taking measures to control it year by year. We have a very good relation between US, France, Russia, Brazil etc.

We were called to participate in G8 summit. We are one among the G5 and G20. The Infrastructure, Tourism in India is inclining gradually. Now we are one among the 6 Nations that have their own Nuclear subs. India has top 8 best places for outsourcing. The Foreign Direct Investment flow is very huge and increasing rapidly.

Indians who read this, be proud that we are no longer a poor country but as of now we are an emerging global power. And definitely in near future we will become a super power.

Daniel

The Indians were given a great deal of money for the land that was taken by the United States. The United States (Congress) however said "Indians are too ignorant to handle their own financial affairs" and so they placed all of the money into TRUST accounts for the Indians and their children. The BIA (Bureau of Indian Affairs) was then made the TRUSTEE for the accounts and only gives the money out to the Indians if they approve the expenditure. This is rarely done and the case of Cobell VS Norton is about this practice (as well as the fact that there is no public accounting of these trust accounts).

Some Indians had their money invested for them by the BIA, into mutual funds, as of the last reporting those funds have negative balances of over $10,000.00 per year, per tribal member.

Compounding this problem is the fact that Indians are not allowed to work in the USA because they are not US Citizens and are immune to IRS Taxes, only if the Indian becomes a US Citizen (Gives up his Indian citizenship) are they allowed to work in the US.
