George Washington had 5 actual blood-related siblings, but he had 4 other half-siblings, who were Butler, Lawrence, Augustine, and Jane Washington. Butler died in infancy, and Jane at the age of 12.

His five brothers and sisters were Elizabeth (Betty), Samuel, John, Charles, and Mildred. (Mildred died at the age of one.)

George Washington fathered no children of his own. He adopted two of his step-grandchildren, who were grandchildren of his wife Martha. Two of her four children by her first husband, who died in 1757, became Washington's step-children. Her son John Parke Custis died of illness during the Revolutionary War.
