It took 13 years to build Mission San Jose
They brought over the christmas tree, and the famous dish we call soup. Also the native americans were the long ancestors of the russians, so technechly everything that the Americans learned from the Native americans were all things from Russia
The british over a long history have conqured land. I have never heard of them actually making measures to end troubles with Native Americans. But if they were unable to conqure them( which i highly doubt because their army was superior to the native americans) they would most likely return home in order to regroup.
King Philip's War (1675-1676) had devastating effects on Native Americans in New England. It resulted in significant loss of life, with many Native communities decimated and their populations drastically reduced. The war led to the loss of land and autonomy, as colonial forces gained dominance over the region, leading to further displacement of Native populations. Additionally, the conflict fostered long-lasting animosities and contributed to the fragmentation of Native societies.
The establishment of the Plymouth Colony by the Pilgrims or also known as "puritans" had no long-lasting negatives fro America. The affect on the local Native Americans they came in contact with were for the most part friendly ones.
The Dawes Act, enacted in 1887, aimed to assimilate Native Americans into American society by allotting them individual plots of land and granting U.S. citizenship. While it intended to promote farming and economic self-sufficiency, it resulted in significant loss of tribal land and cultural erosion, often disadvantaging Native Americans. The Act facilitated the transfer of large amounts of land to non-Native settlers, benefiting the U.S. economically but causing long-term harm to Indigenous communities. Thus, while it may have provided short-term benefits for some, the overall impact was detrimental to Native American societies.
The Mission San José, established in 1777, took approximately 12 years to complete, with construction efforts primarily taking place from 1797 to 1800. The delay was due to various factors, including the need for resources, labor, and the challenges posed by the local environment. Native Americans, along with Spanish missionaries, played a critical role in its construction, as the mission was intended to convert and integrate Indigenous peoples into the Spanish colonial system. The mission served as a center for agriculture, education, and religious instruction for the surrounding communities.
Today it is about a 2 hour drive. The mission is south of San Jose.
The feelings of Native Americans regarding their presence in San Jose varied widely among different tribes and individuals. Many Native Americans lived in the region long before European contact and had established their own cultures and communities. However, with the arrival of settlers and the subsequent displacement and disruption of their traditional ways of life, many Native Americans experienced loss and hardship. Thus, while some may have adapted to the changes, overall sentiments were often marked by resistance and sorrow rather than gladness.
30 years!
Not at all. Native Americans have a long history of laziness.
You cannot generalize this as not all Native Americans have long nails - it is just a personal preference from individual to individual.

They are called Native-Americans because they were native to the land we now call America. In other words, they had lived there long before we discovered it.
