The british over a long history have conqured land. I have never heard of them actually making measures to end troubles with Native Americans.

But if they were unable to conqure them( which i highly doubt because their army was superior to the native americans) they would most likely return home in order to regroup.

They sent many soldiers to kill all of the Native Americans. They also rounded them up and sent them off to different homes.
