What was a major victory by indians led by crazy horse over 250 us soldiers led by colonel george custer?

The Battle of The Little Bighorn, e.g. "the Battle of the Greasy Grass", occurred June 25-26, 1878 on the Little Bighorn River, near Garryowen, in the Montana Territory (now the State of Montana). The Lakota, Northern Cheyenne, and Arapaho, led by several major war leaders, including Crazy Horse and Chief Gall, were victorious over General Custer.

In what area of his body was Custer shot?

Custer was shot in the left breast, just below the left nipple, and also in the left temple. The breast wound bled ... the head wound did not. Thus, the breast wound was likely the fatal wound, and the head wound was likely done post-mortem.
