Article Six establishes the United States Constitution and the laws and treaties of the United States made in accordance with it as the supreme law of the land, forbids a religious test as a requirement for holding a governmental position and holds the United States under the Constitution responsible for debts incurred by the United States under the Articles of Confederation.
The easiest way to answer that is to read it. So I have provided the full text; it is quite short. Note that the second chapter deals with treaties being the "supreme law of the land." It does seem ambiguous in its plain language; it has however been interpreted as though the last clause simply isn't there. Note also that in the last chapter an Oath or Affirmation is required but that no religious test shall ever be required. Surely the word ever does not change the technical meaning of sentence, but it does make clear the Founding Father's strong desire to keep religion and government sperated. But read for yourself. "All Debts contracted and Engagements entered into, before the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be as valid against the United States under this Constitution, as under the Confederation. This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof; and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land; and the Judges in every State shall be bound thereby, any Thing in the Constitution or Laws of any State to the Contrary notwith-standing. The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the Members of the several State Legislatures, and all executive and judicial Officers, both of the United States and of the several States, shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution; but no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States."
