∙ 12y agoPontiac, the great Ottawa chief who had sided with the French during the French Indian Wars decided to conduct a direct attack on the British stronghold at Fort Detroit. British soldiers were on full alert and after several long months he gave up.

∙ 9y agoOne thing was that the British government issued the Proclamation of 1763. All colonists had to move east of the line. This was done to prevent further trouble with the Native Americans. Also the British gave a gift to the tribe it was blankets but they were infested with small pox they got very mad and that is when it started.
