Aliens came and destroyed town both in Texas and Mexico and disguised themselves as citizen saying to others that the other country did it. ex: aliens destroyed Fredsville, Texas and an alien disguised themselves as a citizen saying the Mexicans did it.

The revolution began because of Mexico's restriction of American settlement, the prohibition of slavery in their territory, and the cancellation of unused land grants. Mexico did not want any more Americans trying to take over land within its boundaries.
