well, towards the end of the war, lots of men who were going against Europe, also know as Patriots, became beasts. they began to steal cows from local houses as they were traveling and cut the meat up behind the house. a lot of men also made sure that their friends would get in trouble instead of them because they didn't wanna be the ones that died. lots, in fact most generals, would not be afraid to show the rest of the regiment what he can do and would make an example out of anyone who messed up. soldiers would rape women, steal from houses, and attempt murder if were found in one of these acts
