Well, Andrew Jackson (1829-37) was heartless (Trail of Tears, beating people with canes...)

Andrew Johnson (1865-69) was an ardent racist who did everything he could to keep whites as the dominant race.

Thomas Woodrow Wilson (1913-1921) was an outwardly cold person, widely speculated to be a racist.

Calvin Coolidge (1923-29) was a grumpy man who didn't enjoy the company of others. During a White House dinner, when a visitor said she had a bet to get the quiet president to say more than three words, he said, "You lose." Mean or sarcastic, you decide.

Herbert Hoover (1929-33) was also a grumpy old man who just cared about big business and money.

Richard Nixon (1969-74) was an insecure loner who like his predecessor Lyndon Johnson, resorted to bullying to get what he wanted.

There's no fun in playing it safe. Why not try something a little unhinged?
