Laws are required for the betterment of the society. If there is no defined laws then there will be corruption. Crime rate will increase and the people living in the society will get affected.

We live in a rapidly changing world. New issues arise out of innovations or degradations of our society. Either way, these issues must be mediated diplomatically, or else someone will do something uncivil and cause more turmoil. True, many laws may violate what we feel are our rights, our morals, and beliefs: this is unfortunate, but new laws are still necessary.
