Let me make a correction to the previous comments.

In the Bible in book of Genesis chapter 40 and verse 20 it says this:

"Now on the third day it turned out to be Pharaoh'sbirthday and he proceeded to make a feast for all his servants and to lift up the head of the chief of he cup bearers and the heard of he chief of he bakers in the midst of his servants.."

Genesis book was written in 1513 b.c.

Since The Bible stood the scrutiny of historians and archeology.. and was

proven correct every time, one could assume that the Egyptians, did celebrate birthdays.

At least the prominent ones such as Pharaohs.
