The production of papyrus paper is attributed to the Egyptians almost 6,000 years ago.
Papyrus is made from papyrus reeds (Cyperus papyrus).
First you cut off some of the reeds inside into small strips.
Second, you take the strips and connect them together to make the shape and size of the paper you want. Then you pound the surface to try and connect the strips together. Then you take a smooth rock and smooth the paper out.
Once you're done, let the paper dry off and it will be ready for use.
