I think that there are some members of the First Nations who might dispute your assertion that there are no ancient North American civilizations, however, in the sense that a civilization requires cities by definition, you are correct. The ancient population of North America lived a hunter-gatherer type of lifestyle, and that does not work well with cities. They were happy with what they had, and saw no reason to change it.
Central America normally means Mexico, Belize, etc. The Tribes in that area were: The Maya, Aztec, Hopi, Apache and Cheyenne.
