-Posidon- God of the Sea with a wicked temper. His weapon is the trident, forged from the Cyclops during the Titan War.

There are not only twelve Olympian gods and goddesses; there are many other Greek deities.

There are too many to list. There was a Greek god for almost everything. The twelve main Greek gods were Zeus, Poseidon, Hades, Ares, Demeter, Apollo, Aphrodite, Hephaestus, Artemis, Hermes, Dionysus, Athena, and Hera. Hestia was one of the main 12 gods and goddesses, but she gave up her seat to Dionysus, Zeus's son.
there were 12 main gods, and they all sat together on a sort of council. however, there were many other minor gods, much the same way we have patron saints. some of them are important, like the patron saint of love; and some aren't, like the patron saint of taxi drivers. :-) the same was true of the greek gods.
the 12 were Jupiter, hera, diana, apollo, bacchus, neptune, mars, venus, mercury, ceres, prosperina, and vulcan. You can count hestia but shes just goddess f the hearth and doesn't have a throne. --- Roman God and Goddesses and Greek Gods and Goddesses are not the same! Greek Gods lived on Mount Olympus, not the Roman Gods. Zeus, Hera, Aphrodite, Ares, Hestia, Athena, Hephaestus, Hermes, Dionysus, Poseidon, Artemis and Apollo were the 12 Olympians that lived on Mount Olympus.
There are many gods in the greek pantheon possibly hundreds. However only 24 of them (12 gods and 12 goddesses) were considered to be the Olympians. Another answer: No, sorry, 12 olympians, not 24.
Yes, Demeter was one of the 12 main greek Gods and Goddesses.
No they believed in their 12 gods and goddesses
There were many Greek gods and goddesses, but there were 12 main Olympian gods and goddesses. They included: Zeus, Poseidon, Hades, Hera, Athena, Aphrodite, Hypotheses, Dionysus, Apollo, Artemis, Ares, and Hermes.
There is only ever 12 greek gods/goddesses at one time, however many greek believed in roman gods, but the main 15 greek gods/ goddesses are: Aphrodite Apollo Ares Artemis Athena Demeter Dionysus Eros Hades Hephaestus Hera Hermes Hestia Poseidon Zeus
