The god whose name is written HH in hieroglyphs is a very ancient god representing the idea of eternity, infinity, time and long life. He is at the same time male and female (the female aspect being named HHt), being portrayed as either a man with a frog for a head or a woman with a snake for a head.

Sometimes he/she is shown kneeling holding a palm stem in each hand with a sh.n ring (the hieroglyph for infinity) at the base of each stem. HH was used as the symbol for 1,000,000, when he is shown kneeling with both arms raised.

Since hieroglyphs did not record any vowels the god's name is written today as Heh, or Huh, or Hauh, or Hahuh or any one of many other different forms.
