Howard Carter and Lord Carnarvon were the archaeologists that discovered Tutankhamun's tomb in The Valley of The Kings. On the 4th of November 1922 they first looked into the untouched tomb of Tutankhamun; it was very surprising that it hadn't already been robbed.

Just a few things to say about that, it had been robbed already; just not Tutankhamun's body. Howard Carter was the person who discovered Tut's tomb, Lord Carnarvon was the person paying.
