Tedeschi is a contemporary Italian painter, born in 1923 in Gallarate, Italy. He received his formal training in Rome; he was a teacher of art. Has won many prizes, including the Baquta in Milan. Woodland scenes of northern Italy are his favorite subject, for which he is recognized by his delicate and subtle use of colors.

I got this information out of a web site a long time ago and have never been able to find it again. We have a painting by Tedeschi and would really like some more information about him. Please let us know if you find out anything else.

He is now a professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Milan. His favorite subjects are woodland scenes of northern Italy. The sensitive palette knife work and delicate and subtle use of colors in these paintings have brought Tedeschi world-wide fame.
