Roman legacies that affect our lives today are the right to own property, the right to make a will, the right of a trial and the right of appeal. They also left us with the legacy of clean water, central heating and indoor Plumbing. Our cities and streets would look very different if the Romans had not given us concrete. There are many other things on the Roman list of inventions that have come down to us and affect our lives in one way or another.
