Nothing Ignore the above While today it may seem like it was 'nothing' during MEDIEVAL times people went on Crusades as a pilgrimage. Religion was a very important part of life for these people and Jerusalem was the centre of Christianity. The Holy Land was a honey pot for Christians. Pilgrimages were made as penence (punishment) or simply to please God. When war broke out between Christians and Muslims over the rights to the Holy Land people went on Crusade to drive the Muslims out because they believed that Jerusalem was theirs. They lacked the understanding of other religions that people hold today and so they would not accept it.
life in the western trails were very very hard because people had to walk alot of miles just to get a drink for water and many more
When they feel like there boobs are big enough and dont want people to see and watch them bounce. Usually around 5th grade
well the city's were very small compaired to are citys today there were many crimes mainly poor people were killed. life was horrid it stunk because people didnt have toilets just buckets and once they were full they were chucked out the window and it was possible for it to land on people but it made no difference because the people stunk they only had 1 maby 2 baths a year if u were rich then probably more. soo it wasnt exactly the best life or time to live in
The life of the people on the pilgrimages can be defined as religious. People went on the pilgrimages in order to pray.
No. A pilgrimage is for anyone. Pilgrims go to special places. Some places are associated with sick people, like Lourdes, but some pilgrimages can be to special places that don't have a particular association with the sick, like Rome or Bethlehem. Even for places like Lourdes, most of the people who go on pilgrimages there are not seriously ill.
hard!
Life was full of risks on pilgrimages. You could become ill, you could be robbed or mugged, and you could get seriously hurt. You could maybe even die on your way. It was also very tiring. Rather than driving for hours, on a pilgrimage, you would be walking for days!
Usually rather uncomfortable.
Fun and highly enjoyable because they get to go on a holiday!!!
Times on a pillgramage, was very hard from all the walking and that...

It's a term that was originally used about 1,000 years ago in England. For a fee, innkeepers would provide travelers (usually people on religious pilgrimages) with a room for the night and food (board). The food was served from a makeshift, temporary table--usually a wooden board set up on two sawhorse-like structures.
Spiritual pilgrimage involves visiting sites with strong spiritual history like mecca, Isreal. People also embark on health pilgrimage for health reasons.
