From my understanding their was so much intermixing over the years it is hard to tell. Ethnic Romans were descendants of Indo-European Italic peoples and non-Indo-European Mediterranean peoples (myths say they are descended from Trojan refugees from Greece). They began in Italy in an area called Latium. Eventually they expanded their empire to what is now France, Spain, Portugal, the United Kingdom, Germany, and parts of Eastern Europe and the Near East. When they invaded a nation (i.e. the Celtic Gauls in France) they would intermix with them. Gauls and Romans produced Gallo-Romans. Celtiberians in Spain and Romans produced Hispano-Romans. Later, Germanic tribes took over the Western part of Rome and intermixed with the Gallo-Romans, Hispano-Romans, Roman-Romans, etc. producing the French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, etc. peoples.
All in all, many European peoples have Roman blood but their exists no pure Roman people in Modern Europe. Romance speaking people probably have more Roman ancestry than a Russian or German for example, but still possess German, Celtic, and even Middle Eastern blood.
Celts have not died out. Descendants of the Celts can be found living in Cornwall, Scotland, Ireland, Wales and Brittany.
The Zealots didn't attack the Romans. The Romans were going to attack but all the Zealots killed themselves. Over 960 children, men and woman died. Now, that's a different story. They believe the Romans attacked, or were going to attack, because the Zealots would, in a way, pull pranks on the Romans. The Romans got tired of living over 1,000 feet below the Zealots because it also gave the Zealots a advantage at numerous things.Hoped this helped!:)
No, 20,000 years ago is way too far back for the Romans. The city of Rome was founded in 753 BC. However before this actual founding, the forerunners of the people who would be known as Romans were living there in clusters of small villages. They united to form Rome.
It is thought that no one forced the Romans out of Britain. It is just that when waves of invading hordes were attacking Rome the Emperor at the time felt that he wanted his armies closer to the center of his Empire (not that it helped) and when the armies withdrew then most of the Romans living in Britain did too. Although some are thought to have stayed for many years afterwards.
Uncivilised The Romans were uncivilised when it came to living. The rich Romans lived a luxurious life living in a in a big house. They had slaves to accomplish all of there needs. On the other hand, the slaves were all crammed into one room for the night. They were not treating them fairly. The Romans had a great way of entertainment, however, it was considered uncivilized because it threatened some people with possible death. It was called Gladiators. It involved 1 slave fighting against a lion or a similar animal which then ended in the slave dying.
