∙ 11y agoAncient Romans considered gladiator games entertaining and exciting, although not all Romans supported gladiator games. some saw it as barbaric. There was also an economic reason for the lower classes to attend the gladiatorial games. This was because at the end of the day's activities, gifts were thrown out to the people. Some of them were quite valuable, such as tokens for slaves, furniture, clothing, food and of course, money.
