From what I know Adolf Hitler did not have anything to do with Pearl Harbor except for the fact that he is one of the causes of World War II which then caused the Japanese to attack us with a long history behind it.

Hitler did not have anything do with Japan's move, except opening the best German wine bottles to celebrate the attack.

Yes, he did. At the start of World War II, Hitler wanted Japan to be one of his Allies, but they did not want to be involved in a war. When Hitler made and broke the promise with the USSR, the Japanese were happy (they did not like the Soviets) and they decided to go along with Hitler and attack the USA. Hitler wanted to attack the USA because he wanted to capture Britian, but was afraid USA would help them out and needed them out of the picture before attacking Britan.

What about Italy?Italy helped the Japanese slightly. On the night of 11/12 November 1940, the British Royal navy launched the first all-aircraft naval attack in history, flying a small number of Swordfish torpedo bombers from an Aircraft in the Mediterranean and attacking the Italain fleet at. This occured 1 year and 1 month before Pearl Harbor. Within a few days, a group of observers from Japan arrived to study the details of the attack; such as depth of water and the approach made by the bombers.
