World War 2 was the greatest effort of military armament production in the history of the World and the United States. There has never been another effort as large and widespread since that time. It has been considered this phrase was credited to Dwight D. Eisenhower. It is a concept of the US Governing people working with war manufacturing industries and other companies who converted to armament production. The entire cooperation of the nation's people, the companies and the government accounts for the "industrial complex" concept. see related link below
