if you mean how many bullets per clip: most world war rifles were designed to carry 5 - 10 shots in one clip, but some snipers built/changed existing cips to give more then this iv heard some had bolt action rifles with 20 shot mags to keep themselves hidden
if you mean how many bullets they carryed in the field: im not sure but i dont imagine to much as they stayed in trenches most of the time and would have been trying to keep as much ammo dry as possible
