There was only one US Civil War battle that took place in Idaho which was called the Massacre at Boa Ogoi. The Massacre at Boa Ogoi took place on January 29, 1863. It is often referred to as the Bear River Massacre. ( it was in the Washington Territory at the time) Native American Shoshone forces massacred by Union troops.
The simple answer is no. Idaho became a territory in 1863 so it wasn't even a state. The only state in the west at the time was California and it was a member of the Union. The Idaho Territory did not have any Civil War battles in it. At the time of the Civil War there were battles with the indigenous populations, those being the Shoshone and Bannock. The Shoshone were typically found in lands towards Utah while the Bannock were at Fort Hall (near Pocatello). Hope this helps.
The Civil War ended in 1865. Nebraska (1867), Colorado (1876), North Dakota (1889), South Dakota (1889), Montana (1889), Washington (1889), Idaho (1890), Wyoming (1890), and Utah (1896) joined the union after the end of the Civil War.
Idaho i believe,
William Pease was drafted by the US Army in the spring of l944. He left for induction on the 26th of June l944 from a small town in central Idaho, Shoshone. His parents moved to Wyoming after his induction, so he would be listed as a KIA from the state of WY rather than Idaho. I believe he was KIA in the spring of 45. He was probably 18 years old when he lost his life. There must be a list of US Army soldiers from the State of Wyoming who were killed in action in WW 2.

Yes. There were many battles of the Civil War though. Some were big and many were small. These battles occurred in many states such as Alabama, Arkansas, North Carolina, Maryland, Florida, Pennsylvania, Indiana, North Dakota, Louisiana, New Mexico, Idaho, Missouri, Kentucky, Colorado, Kansas, Georgia,Tennessee, West Virginia, Virginia, and the Carolinas. Most of these battles were fought in Virginia. Hope this helped!! :)

Idaho did not exist. Colorado Territory sided with the Union, New Mexico sided with the Union. Indian Territory (present day Oklahoma) generally supported the Confederacy.

The first seal was adopted in 1863 when Idaho was a territory.
A territory.
Through the break up of the Oregon Territory, Washington Territory, Montana Territory and Wyoming Territory.
Boise became a state capital when Idaho became a state, in 1890. It became the capital of Idaho Territory in 1865. The first capital of Idaho Territory, from 1863 to 1865, was Lewiston.
The US Civil War, for the most part was fought in the Southern states that seceded from the Union. There were also battles at sea, but small events compared to the clash of huge armies east of the Mississippi River. To be complete, mention needs to made of Southern incursions into Maryland, Kentucky, Missouri and Pennsylvania.
