The simple answer is no. Idaho became a territory in 1863 so it wasn't even a state. The only state in the west at the time was California and it was a member of the Union. The Idaho Territory did not have any Civil War battles in it. At the time of the Civil War there were battles with the indigenous populations, those being the Shoshone and Bannock.
