over 100 us planes
As of my last update in October 2023, the U.S. Air Force operates approximately 5,200 aircraft, including fighters, bombers, transport planes, and support aircraft. This number can fluctuate due to ongoing acquisitions, retirements, and maintenance cycles. For the most current and specific figures, it's best to consult official U.S. Air Force resources or reports.

Planes flying above us are typically en route to various destinations, including airports both domestic and international. They could be carrying passengers, cargo, or serving as private flights. Flight paths are determined by air traffic control to ensure safety and efficiency, often following established routes that take them over cities, mountains, or bodies of water. The altitude and direction of these planes can vary based on their specific flight plans and the airspace they are traversing.
