The following were "arms race" jets and all were used in the Vietnam War: F-100 Supersabre, F-101 Voodoo, F-102 Delta Dagger (President Bush's Jet), F-105 Thunderchief, A-4 Skyhawk (Presidential Candidate McCain's Jet), A-6 Intruder, A-7 Corsair II, F-4 Phantom, F-8 Crusader (see film: Dog-Fight Series History Channel, the "Last Gunfighter"), B-57 Canberra (Flown by GEN Chuck Yeager in Vietnam), B-52 Stratofortress Bomber, SR-71 Blackbird Spyplane, U-2 Spyplanes, C-130 Spectre Gunships (Propeller driven).
