There were many results of World War 2. One of Major ones was that the Axis surrendered, Germany surrendered on May 6th 1945 and Japan on September 2nd 1945. Both Germany and Japan signed a unconditional surrender. The reason for Germany was the allied victory of Battle of Berlin and for Japan was blackmailing threats and the effects from the Hiroshima and Nagasaki Atomic Bombings.
