It depends on how old they were at the time of the war. If we assume that all soldiers were at least 16, and that they enlisted just before the end of the war, then they would have to have been born in 1929 or before. In 2011, that would make them at least 82. The majority would have been over 18, which would put them at minimum in their mid-80s. Some soldiers, of course, would have been older.
